I created Pilates x Strength for beginners. I created PxS for anyone struggling with a consistent fitness routine. I created PxS for anyone who can't figure out how to exercise but needs to exercise.

For years I saw folks struggle in the gym space because they didn't how to use the equipment or maintain proper form. I saw folks struggle with Youtube because of the lack of real time feedback. I saw folks struggle with in person classes because of travel time and expense. I saw folks struggle in large group fitness classes where the vibes would be great but no help AT ALL with proper form. As a beginner, these are all barriers to getting strong and meeting fitness goals.

It wasn't until I developed Pilates x Strength did I see REAL and consistent change in people. I combine my 1:1 coaching experience with a pilates class so you can finally understand what it means to feel your body and to know exactly what takes to change your body.

Autonomy has always been the goal and I believe everyone can achieve this goal with a little bit of help.

This 6 week series is a great starting point but it won't matter if you don't have a plan to continue the progress you made. We will work together to create a sustainable fitness plan for rest of the year.

Monice Small

Strength coach 

Monice is a strength coach, Nike Trainer and the founder of GOODFORM Studios. She specializes in helping folks build strength while developing a healthy relationship with their body.

 As a former track & field athlete, she is very familiar with injuries and always stresses the importance of form and functionality. She understands what it means to push the body to its limits with a keen understanding of recovery.

Monice curates classes that place emphasis on centering, core, and concentration. Advocating for accessibility in the health and fitness industry can be challenging, but this has been Monice's driving force.

 

I’ve always been fascinated by how much the body can endure. Movement is a privilege yet we take it for granted. Exercise is a way to show gratitude for our bodies and that allows us to remember what our bodies are capable of. Humans were not meant to sit in one place for hours at a time. If you're sad, move your body. If you're anxious, move your body. If you have a problem you can't figure out, move your body. Everything comes back to movement
